Kyra: A Life of Simple Surrender

I have written one book entitled "Kyra, A Life of simple surrender. The reader will enjoy an opportunity to engage in the life of life of Kyra Karr, a missionary to Italy who was tragically killed leaving behind her husband and three little girls. Kyra's simple surrender paved a way for many people to see the difference a difficult "yes" can mean in a world that promotes "no" to Jesus Christ.

All the proceeds from the sales of this book goes to www.kyrakarrfoundation.com

I am presently working on some new writing projects in hope to encourage others with hope and purpose.

Mental Health Life Coaching

After earning a religion/pastoral degree from Liberty University I earned a life coaching certificate.

Presently, as a mental health coach,  I facilitate help for those with mental distress by working closely wth mental health professionals, pastors and community leaders.

The goal is to dismantle the stigma of mental health challenges and give all a safe place to talk and find resources.

Cartersville Community Volunteer

I enjoy spending my days caring for my home, spending time with my retired husband, three young adult sons, my daughter-in-love and my granddaughter. I keep a seat warm at my favorite coffee shop, Noble and Main, drinking hot chocolate and meeting with family and friends.

After 35 years of church and community ministry with my last professional role being the Relationship Center Director at Bartow Family Resources, I presently use my gifts and abilities in volunteer roles. www.bartowfamilies.com

Outside of volunteering as a mental health coach, I volunteer at LifePoint church as a women's ministry leader. I continue my role as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children in our foster care system.

Volunteering in our amazing community brings so much joy and enables me to be part of things that are so much bigger than me.
